ODB’s Widow Slams ODB Hologram Plans

Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s widow is not happy with plans to use her husband’s image in hologram form. Apparently, the Rock The Bells festival has been discussing the possibility of resurrecting ODB on stage by creating a hologram of the late Wu-Tang rapper, who passed away in 2004. Apparently, the Rock The Bells festival has been discussing the possibility of resurrecting ODB on stage by creating a hologram of the late Wu-Tang rapper, who passed away in 2004.

The late rapper’s widow, Icelene Jones, is far from happy with the fact that the hologram has been discussed by the annual festival’s organizers without consulting her on the subject.

According to Rolling Out, Icelene released a press statement to voice her dissatisfaction. She said that, as the administrator of her late husband’s estate, she was only person who could confirm, or otherwise, a true likeness of the late rapper.

“I am disappointed that Rock the Bells would not contact me directly about the use of my husband’s image,” she said, in the statement. “I am looking forward to talking to Wu-Tang about this matter and coming up with a positive solution in order to bring my husband’s image to the stage once again.”
