Since they won’t talk, media outlets have been asking anyone available to give their take on the situation. Yesterday, TMZ cameras caught up with Akon and the singer gave an insightful look on the relationship.
“Their relationship has been more of a business to the outside world than an actual relationship,” said Akon. “To them, it may feel like a relationship, but the way it was presented to the world, it feels more corporate…I think they were trying to keep their relationship out of the public. When you’re a person of interest to the public, it’s almost impossible to do without speculation…If you don’t open up to the public, people will naturally speculate and those speculations may be completely opposite or wrong of what is actually happening.”
Akon also believes that the situation will only result in great music. “It’s going to make better music, believe it or not. Now they have more content to speak about because they’re not the only ones dealing with it. People are dealing with the exact same thing just on a much smaller scale.”
Until Hov and Bey speak on the rumors themselves, all the public can do is speculate. Props to Akon for providing actual insight instead of dragging them through the mud.
