Ludadcris Sued By His Own Lawyer
Posted: Thursday – October 22, 2009
A lawyer who claims he has not been paid for work done on behalf of Ludacris and his Ludacris Foundation filed suit against the parties on Oct. 16 in Georgia’s Fulton County Superior Court, reports Allhiphop.com.
Carton Fields, from Atlanta, says the Ludacris Foundation hired him in March 2008 to defend the non-profit against a personal injury/negligence claim.
He claims he advanced the organization $61,860 in expenses, but eventually had to cease representing the organization in April 2009, after the defendants “refused to pay.”
Fields is seeking $61,860 plus court costs.
