Soulja Boy is 23 years old and has more money in his sweat pants than you’ll see in a year … which he happily showed off to our pretty jealous photog. Soulja was strollin’ around in LA Saturday when our camera guy asked if he was still celebrating his bday (it was July 28) — at which point Soulja went all Chief Keef on him and flashed some bills.

“From Day 1″ continues this stylistic, albeit limited progression, for a debut album that seeks out the indulgent being in all of us.In today’s scene there is ample space for party Rap music to thrive, an awareness Travis Porter has capitalized on over the last few years within the Southern circuit. In the process, the Decatur, Georgia trio (Ali, Quez and Strap) have built up a substantial fan base with their countless mixtapes that would fit into any dance club scenario, whatever one that comes to mind. A claim that Soulja Boy had purchased a $55 million private jet for his 21st birthday has been reported false. The rumor originated from Soulja Boy himself, his assistant, and a member of the rapper’s management, Shai Storm, who has not yet replied to the numerous queries on the subject.
After the story about his private jet was posted, ej went on Miami’s radio station 99 Jamz on Saturday. When asked about his new purchase, the rapper did not deny his birthday present to himself and simply declared that he reached “G5 status”.
Soulja Boy’s spokesperson Greg Miller took charge of rectifying the lie and stated, “The elaborate rumors circulating about Soulja Boy purchasing a jet for his 21st birthday are grossly over exaggerated and are not true.”
Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, made quick success in 2007 with his hit single Crank That, which was nominated for Best Rap Song at the Grammys. By 2010, the rapper made the Forbes’ Hip Hop Cash Kings list with $7 million in earnings.
However, Soulja Boy is currently suffering major financial issues as the rapper owes more than $20 000 in back taxes to the State of California. Soulja Boy’s Georgia home was also foreclosed on in the previous year.

Rapper Soulja Boy owes the Internal Revenue Service tens of thousands of dollars in back taxes.
According to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the 21-year-old rapper owes almost $30,000 in back taxes.
Soulja Boy owes the state of California $26,805, while the state of Mississippi was seeking $3,571 in back taxes, but the full amount was paid last week.
Additionally, Soulja Boy’s $280,000 home in McDonough Georgia, was foreclosed upon last year.
The news of Soulja Boy’s tax problems comes just days after representatives for the rapper told TMZ.com that he bought a $55,000,000 jet.
After numerous publications re-ran the reports, a spokesman for Soulja Boy came forward to reveal that the news was fake.
Representatives for the rapper said that he was simply borrowing the jet from a billionaire.

Soulja Boy doesn’t know the meaning of the word recession — because TMZ has learned, the 21-year-old rapper is dropping $55 MILLION on a new private jet.
A member of Soulja’s management team tells us … the kid bought himself a G5 jet as a birthday present to himself this week.
The jet cost $35 mil … but that’s just the beginning. We’re told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff … like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.
We’re told S.B. is also gutting the in-flight lavatory — and replacing it with a giant, LUXURIOUS bathroom. Oh, he’s also giving the jet a custom paint job … to include his logo.
And if that’s not enough for someone’s 21st — we’re told Soulja’s also spending $300,000 to throw himself a blowout birthday party at a Miami nightclub tonight … and Dwight Howard, Bow Wow, and Sean Kingston are all expected to attend.
