Early in the week we reported that Sean Kingston was being charged for a Gang rap of a 19 year old female. Read the original story here. Sean Kingston has settled up with the 22-year-old girl who accused the singer and his former bodyguards of gang rape back in 2010, sources close to Kingston tell us. Sources tell us, Kingston settled NOT because he’s admitting guilt, but because his upcoming tour and new album release will prevent him from focusing his energies on a messy civil trial.

It’s only been 9 months since Sean Kingston crashed and nearly died in a jet ski accident in Miami … but the “Beautiful Girls” singer says he ABSOLUTELY will ride again.
Kingston was out in L.A. yesterday … where he just bought a new house … when we asked about rumors that he moved out West because he was mentally scarred from the jet ski incident and couldn’t live around the Atlantic Ocean.
In case you forgot … Kingston spent some serious time in the intensive care unit of a Florida hospital following the May crash … in which he suffered a broken jaw and water in the lungs.
Now that he’s recovered … Sean tells us he’s not afraid to get back in the water … he’s just waiting for the right moment.

Soulja Boy doesn’t know the meaning of the word recession — because TMZ has learned, the 21-year-old rapper is dropping $55 MILLION on a new private jet.
A member of Soulja’s management team tells us … the kid bought himself a G5 jet as a birthday present to himself this week.
The jet cost $35 mil … but that’s just the beginning. We’re told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff … like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.
We’re told S.B. is also gutting the in-flight lavatory — and replacing it with a giant, LUXURIOUS bathroom. Oh, he’s also giving the jet a custom paint job … to include his logo.
And if that’s not enough for someone’s 21st — we’re told Soulja’s also spending $300,000 to throw himself a blowout birthday party at a Miami nightclub tonight … and Dwight Howard, Bow Wow, and Sean Kingston are all expected to attend.

DMX will need to spend at least another week incarcerated at Arizona State Prison. X was jailed on November 19th 2010, for violating his parole and was held on a number of charges, the principal being drug use. He was sentenced to serve one year with no chance of bail. In mid-May, it was announced that the artist could be getting off earlier than expected, if he met the terms for good behavior. That date was officially set for July 13th.
New reports suggest the MC hasn’t met those terms. Since January, DMX has managed to accumulate seven disciplinary violations at the prison, some of which include: unauthorized smoking, disrespect towards staff, possession of narcotics and disorderly conduct.
The man behind the chart toppers, Party Up and Who We Be, has had his share of run-ins with the law, starting in 1994 with an arrest for drug possession, and in 1998 a rape charge, which he was acquitted for due to DNA evidence. The charges have accumulated since that time, the latest being a 2009 conviction for animal cruelty and drug possession, and a 90 day jail sentence in 2010 for a reckless driving charge.
DMX has been working on his 7th album, Redemption Of The Beast, for over a year now. He’ll be collaborating with artists like Sean Kingston, The LOX, Tyrese, as well as known producers Scott Storch, Swizz Beatz, and Dame Grease.
A spokesman for the Arizona Department of Corrections has confirmed an anticipated release date of July 19th for DMX.

Singer Sean Kingston was hospitalized after a watercraft accident Sunday (May 29) in Miami. The Jamaican singer was riding his jet ski with an unidentified female passenger when he crashed into the Palm Island Bridge in Miami Beach.
Kingston was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center for his injuries where he was moved to ICU on Monday. An off-duty Coast Guard pulled him from the wreck saying Sean was responsive but coughed up blood. The unidentified female was unharmed in the accident, but was taken to the hospital as a precaution. There’s been no word on her condition yet.
Sean Kingston is now stabilized and has moved from the trauma unit to ICU and “Sean’s family thanks everyone for their prayers and support during this time.”
His friends took to Twitter praying for his speedy recovery making #getwellsean a trending topic over the weekend. Singer Justin Bieber used the hash tag on his Twitter this weekend adding, “I will continue to support and pray for my friend.”
Kingston’s accident occurred in the wake of Randy “Macho Man” Savage’s death last Friday (May 20). The 58-year-old ex-professional wrestler suffered a heart attack and died while driving his car in Florida.
