Wiz And Amber Talk Marriage And Miley In First Post-Wedding Interview

Two weeks after their secret wedding? in Pennsylvania, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa finally shared some details of their blessed day on Thursday during their first post-nuptials interview.

“It was better than I thought it was gonna be,” Amber told Hot 97’s Angie Martinez about the blessed day. “It was beautiful. I’m so proud of my baby for what she did,” added Wiz. “She put all of that together and everybody’s ranting and raving over every little detail about it. Those things didn’t happen on their own, she did it.”

When MTV News caught up with Wiz on the red carpet at the VMAs, he told us what his favorite moment was from the wedding. “Probably the first dance with me and Amber,” he said,? though he wouldn’t reveal what song they danced to. The rapper added that, “seeing her walk down the aisle … was just mind-blowing.”


And yeah, Khalifa cried during the ceremony, while Amber said she cried walking down the aisle, during the ceremony and at the reception. For now, there’s no honeymoon because Khalifa is working on his next album. In fact, he said he was in the studio the day after the wedding working on tracks. “Thank you for letting me work,” he said to Rose. “I’m working on my album, Blacc Hollywood.”

With love clearly in full bloom (“I don’t think you understand how much I love this man” Amber gushed), the pair also talked about their good friend, Miley Cyrus, and her now legendary performance at the VMAs. Though she was secretive about the details, Amber also revealed that she’s now being managed by Miley’s mom, Tish and is working on a non-musical project with her best friend, Priscilla Ono.

“Young, wild and free,” Wiz said in describing Cyrus’ twerk-tastic VMA moment. “You gotta let people do what they wanna do.” Amber said the couple love Cyrus, calling her a “sweetheart.”

Wiz also confirmed that on Monday he filmed a video for the song “23,” featuring Cyrus, which will appear on producer Mike Will Made It’s upcoming album.

As for the now-infamous Amber pre-wedding twerking video, Amber said Khalifa peer-pressured her into releasing it. “It was after the rehearsal dinner,” she said. “I said, ‘fine I’ll do it.’ “
