Snoop Dogg’s laid-back flow is one of the most consistent and dependable things in music, hip-hop or otherwise, and since the early ’90s, he’s made just about every track he’s guested on better. Now comes a true test of his abilities: In an interview with the New York Post, Paris Hilton has revealed that the Long Beach rapper will appear on her next album.
“It should be out in the next few months,” the heiress, reality star and sometime pop singer told Page Six, dishing about her forthcoming sophomore record. “We just finished doing my single with [band] LMFAO, then I’m recording with Snoop Dogg.”
The album is being produced by Hilton’s boyfriend, Afrojack, a Dutch DJ and dance artist known for his work with Pitbull and Beyonce, among others. Last year, he remixed Snoop’s single “Sweat,” which might explain how the Doggfather became involved with this project.
Or maybe Snoop liked what he heard back in 2009, when he and Paris — or Sweet P, as he dubbed her — busted some freestyle rhymes on his MTV show ‘Dogg After Dark.’ The clip below doesn’t leave us with much hope for the upcoming team-up, but maybe they’ve been practicing.

Miami’s Pitbull is heading out on his “Mr. Worldwide’s Carnaval” tour but he will not make any stops in Phoenix. The artist known as Mr. 305 will do this protest Arizona’s new, controversial immigration law.
“I am canceling my concert in Phoenix on May 31… How is the country we enjoy and love bcuz of its human rights, freedom, opportunity and that has been built by immigrants, now start 2 deny them??.. It is contradicting 2 everything the USA stands 4,” he announced on his Twitter page.
He will begin this “Worldwide” tour on May 25 and it will go through the end of June.
He isn’t alone in doing this. Cypress Hill and others have also canceled shows due to this law. Pitbull is prepping the release of his first Spanish-only album, Armando, a tip of the hat to his real name Armando Perez. Fans can expect that album in the summer and another album, PlanetPit, in the Fall.

The DUI trial of rapper Pitbull started today (July 8) in Miami, Florida.
Pitbull, born Armando Perez, landed his second DUI charge in December of 2007, after police stopped him driving 93 miles-per-hour on the Palmetto Expressway.
He was arrested and was eventually released on $1,000 bond. The rapper’s first DUI charge came in March of 2001.
In that case, he pleaded no contest and paid a fine.
Since this is his second DUI charge, Pitbull faces jail time if he is convicted of the 2007 charge.
Pitbull’s latest single “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” is currently #16 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Single’s chart.
