Chris Brown’s Final ‘X’ Release Date
With another single climbing Billboard charts and seemingly a new energy surrounding his brand lately, Chris Brown is feeling himself. That may be good news for fans as CB has announced a new date for his long-awaited, often delayed sixth studio album, X. Earlier this week, the Virginia entertainer took to his Instagram and revealed the new date of release as September 16.
This is at least the fifth release date given to the album going back to last year. The LP, which is powered by the hit singles, “Fine China,” “Don’t Think They Know,” “Love More” featuring Nicki Minaj and the new single “New Flame,” was initially supposed to drop in July 2013, but has since changed dates four times. In November, the crooner dropped the mixtape X Files as a bonus to faithful fans. Brown has stated in the past the album will now possibly be a double disk.
Brown still has legal issues looming. He will go to trial for his D.C. assault case the same month as the LP is now set to drop.
