Tupac’s legacy still resonates despite passing away nearly 20 years ago. After making unprecedented leaps by crafting a double-disc album in the form of All Eyez On Me, it has been reported that the album has officially gone Diamond, according to the RIAA.
This marks the second time that Tupac has surpassed Diamond status. His 1998 Greatest Hits album was also certified Diamond. Only a few rappers have reached the coveted 10 million sales mark. The list includes Eminem, The Notorious B.I.G., OutKast, MC Hammer and more. Both OutKast and The Notorious B.I.G. released double-disc albums as well, which came in the form of SpeakerBoxx/The Love Below and B.I.G’s Life After To Death.
The album spawned hit records like “California Love” (Remix), “Life Goes On,” “How Do U Want It?” and ”2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted.”
