Birdman has revealed his latest scheme for his record imprint. In what seems to be a high target to reach, Birdman has said that he is aiming to put out 100 albums every year. Speaking to MTV News, he explained the plan. “Right now, as we stand, we have [48 acts] between Young Money, Cash Money, We The Best,” he said.

After nearly two decades in the rap game, Lil Wayne has announced that he plans on quitting soon, revealing to MTV that his upcoming “Tha Carter V” album will be his Swan song. But before that, he plans on releasing his 10th album “I Am Not A Human Being II,” because “I know y’all want me around for a little bit, and Carter V is my last album,” he told MTV‘s Sway Calloway. “Man, I’ve been rappin’ since I was 8 years old. I’m 30 now, man. That’s a long time, man.”

What a match up bringing 50 Cent and ‘Nashville’ star Hayden Panettiere together to announce Nicki Minaj as the winner of the Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist category at the 2012 American Music Awards. It’s pretty awesome to see the size difference between the two, but what’s head scratching is the fact that Panettiere stars as an uber famous country singer on her show, and would’ve been a shoe in to announce the winner of a country artist category or country performer — but hey, we don’t set up the show, despite our best efforts.
