Lil Wayne was hospitalized this week in L.A. following what appeared to be multiple seizures … TMZ has learned. Sources close to the rapper tell us, Wayne suffered the seizures Tuesday night after shooting a music video in L.A. and was subsequently taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. Weezy was released several hours later, early Wednesday morning. We’re told he’s doing much better now.

Birdman has revealed his latest scheme for his record imprint. In what seems to be a high target to reach, Birdman has said that he is aiming to put out 100 albums every year. Speaking to MTV News, he explained the plan. “Right now, as we stand, we have [48 acts] between Young Money, Cash Money, We The Best,” he said.

After nearly two decades in the rap game, Lil Wayne has announced that he plans on quitting soon, revealing to MTV that his upcoming “Tha Carter V” album will be his Swan song. But before that, he plans on releasing his 10th album “I Am Not A Human Being II,” because “I know y’all want me around for a little bit, and Carter V is my last album,” he told MTV‘s Sway Calloway. “Man, I’ve been rappin’ since I was 8 years old. I’m 30 now, man. That’s a long time, man.”

Lil Wayne is under STRICT ORDERS from his doctor to keep his ass off airplanes for the foreseeable future … after his mid-flight medical emergency last week, TMZ has learned. We broke the story … Weezy was hospitalized Friday following two seizure-like episodes on board back-to-back flights. He’s been recovering since at his mama’s house — but sources close to the rapper tell us, Weezy’s doctor has ordered him to rest for the next week at least … which means no working, and definitely no flying.

Tyga INSISTS … he’s not some broke-ass squatter who’s refusing to pay rent on a Malibu crib — in fact, he claims he just bought a $6.5-million mansion 20 miles away. A Malibu landlord named Gholamreza Rezai sued Tyga, claiming the rapper is screwing him on the $16,000-per-month rent … but continues to live in the home. But a rep for Tyga tells Gutta World the lawsuit is 100% B.S … insisting he gave the landlord the necessary 30 days notice before he left … and everything should be square.

TMZ is reporting that rapper Gucci Mane, real name Radric Davis, lost $270,000 in a lawsuit filed by a Georgia based jewelry company. The company sued the rapper for stealing diamonds. A&A Diamonds filed a lawsuit against the rapper in Henry County, GA claiming they had loaned Gucci Mane a $130,000 pinky ring, and a diamond necklace and bracelet that totaled $110,000. The lawsuit stated that Gucci had 15 days to pay for the jewelry or return it, and he did neither. He only paid the company $40,000 of the money they claim he owed.
