Bad Boy Artist French Montana Doesn’t Know How To Use Email

Recent Bad Boy signee French Montana has entertained deals from a variety of labels, but in a recent interview with Hot 97′s Angie Martinez, the ‘Shot Caller’ rapper revealed that his email illiteracy actually cost him a deal with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label.

“I met up with him one time and then I met up with him again. There were things that I was used to ’cause I was already moving. I’m like a money train,” the 27-year-old Moroccan-born MC said.

Unfortunately, his inability to use email rendered French’s communication with his potential boss null and void.

Kanye doesn’t have a phone. If you need to get in contact with Kanye, you have to email him,” French explained. “You can’t tell me how to do that. I don’t know how to use an email, so I guess me and you is never gonna talk, and I’m a put my career in your hands?”

French continued to say that he had great respect for ‘Ye, and that, had he signed with his label, the two would have made “history” together.

“He’s definitely talented and I felt like if I went there, we would have definitely made history,” he concluded.

French is currently gearing up to release his Bad Boy debut, co-executive produced by Diddy and Rick Ross.

Rapper Webbie is adamant … he had nothing to do with an Alabama nightclub shooting that left one man dead — telling TMZ, he was just there to perform … and that’s what he did.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, cops rushed to Webbie’s show at Primetime nightclub in Dothan around 3am Sunday — responding to a call of shots fired. When they arrived, they discovered a man lying face down on the pavement outside the club with a gunshot wound to the chest. He died later at the hospital.

Webbie — real name Webster Gradney — was taken in for questioning following the incident, and there were Internet reports he was being investigated for murder. Webbie insists that’s not true.

Webbie’s manager tells us, the rapper was questioned simply because the shooting occurred at his concert — and police thought he might have some info about what went down.

But according to law enforcement sources, Webbie didn’t know jack …so they let him go — no arrest, no charges filed.

Nicki Minaj is inundating our Twitter feed right now, and with good reason. The Grammy-nominated MC has dropped the music video for her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ promotional single ‘Stupid Hoe.’

Get ready Barbz, because Nicki has really outdone herself with the visuals for her Diamond Kuts-produced track. The flashy, trippy clip has director Hype Williams’ name all over it — the perfect match for Minaj’s manic stage persona.

Nicki brings her signature wide-eyed facial expressions and frantic eye blinking to a brightly colored set filled with robotic female dancers.

The rapper rips into any “stupid hoe” who tries to cross her while sporting pastel face paints and bending her body into contortionist poses. She moves from booty-bouncing her famous backside to crawling on all fours in a leopard cage.

And while she may rock a pink party dress and lick a swirly lollipop like an innocent little school girl, beware! Because in her own words, “I’m Angelina, You Jennifer/ Come on, bitch/ You see where Brad at!”

‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ drops Feb. 14.

Independent rap superstar Tech N9ne is scheduled to make history and shatter records in 2012. The Strange Music maven is slated to headline the “Hostile Takeover 2012” Tour, which will launch in March and includes 90 shows in 99 days, making it the longest tour in rap history. It will make stops in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Baltimore, Denver and Seattle, among other cities.

“I started planting the seeds for this music thing to expand more than 10 years ago and to see it be recognized globally like this is a beautiful thing,” says Tech N9ne, who will be joined on “Hostile Takeover 2012” Tour by Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), Krizz Kaliko, Mayday, Prozak and Stevie Stone. “We started Strange Music so we could make the music we wanted to make and tour like we wanted to tour. No More Bitch For Jay-Z

A little over a week has passed since Jay-Z welcomed his newborn daughter Blue Ivy into the world. Since then, the Brooklyn rapper has released ‘Glory,’ a tribute song celebrating the infant’s life. Now news is spreading that any future lyrics the Roc Nation founder puts out will no longer include the word “bitch.”

According to NME.com, a poem has surfaced that reveals Hov has no interest in referring to women by the derogatory term. “Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/ I didn’t think hard about using the word bitch/ I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/ Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it.”

There’s been no word from Jay-Z himself confirming the poem, but fans of the veteran MC feel the rumors that he’ll kick the word to the curb are untrue. After all, many of his rhymes are littered with it. In 2001, the entertainer released the track ‘Bitches & Sisters,’ off his seventh studio album, ‘The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse.’ Then there’s one of his most lauded songs, ’99 Problems,’ released the following year on ‘The Black Album,’ which delivers the line, “I got 99 problems but a bitch ain’t one.”

Jay and wife Beyonce became parents on Jan. 7, when Blue Ivy was delivered at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Fans of the hip-hop and R&B couple in L.A. have dedicated a strain of marijuana to their new child. Weed with the name OG Blue Ivy is currently sold at local dispensaries.

“We’re planning on putting that out Father’s Day weekend,” he said. “[We're] bringing that Cash Money/Young Money sound, that traditional hard-body rap, the music that we do together—that gangsta shit, straight up.”

Other than the recent tweet, the latest update on the album came from Birdman when he said: “We have a lot of songs we did before [Wayne] went [to jail], and we’ve been working since he came home. All we’ve got to do is pick.

And Wayne likes to be fresh with our music, so we might wait… and just knock out 20 songs right quick and put those on the album.”
