W.i.P. — the nightclub where the Chris Brown/Drake melee took place earlier this week — has been shut down indefinitely tonight by the NYPD for various violations. Law enforcement sources say… the Civil Enforcement Unit (a division of the NYPD) had been looking into violations at the club previously and the events that unfolded this week provided them with the opportunity to examine those violations more closely.

Members of Drake’s entourage are NOT talking to cops about the nightclub brawl with Chris Brown … because they do not want to become “snitches” — sources tell TMZ. As one source put it, “We’re no running-to-the-police ass niggas.” When we broke the story … Chris Brown and his lawyers have been cooperating with police. As for Drake, law enforcement sources tell us the NYPD has spoken with his reps but they won’t be able to speak with the rapper until his lawyer comes to NYC.

50 Cent has confirmed that his next official LP, Five (Murder By Numbers), is set to drop on July 3. In a wide-ranging conversation with Philadelphia radio station Hot 107.9, which comes off his recent appearance on “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” Fif also touched on label politics and boxer Floyd Mayweather’s stint in prison. The new album, which follows the back-to-basics Lost Tape and The Big Ten freebies, will be the last in his turbulent deal with Interscope. “I said I was gonna put a record out that was completely up to album standard, and I’m gonna do that. I worked on this album for a long time. It’s been three years,” he said.

Chris Brown has spoken with New York Police Dept. detectives about the bar fight that left a gash in his chin … and law enforcement sources tell us his lawyer has given the NYPD “physical evidence” which allegedly shows Drake was involved in the melee. We’re told Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, went to the NYPD late today to present evidence showing that Drake and Meek Mill were the aggressors, but earlier in the day Chris spoke with Detectives at an undisclosed location in NYC. Cops tell us Chris is not currently a suspect but rather “a witness and a victim.” We’re also told Drake is not currently a suspect.

The G-Unit head honcho recently revealed the name of his next LP. 50 Cent has finally given fans some more information about his frequently delayed fifth studio album. Fif revealed the album title in an interview with Hot 107.9 Philly. Apparently, the album will simply be entitled, Five (Murder by Numbers). Not long after 50 made the announcement, the radio station issued a tweet on the subject: “@50cent has a new album dropping July 3rd called Five (Murder by Numbers). Make sure you go and get that.”
