Charges Against Jim Jones Dropped

While fans wait for Jim Jones to drop an album, the 34-year-old rapper has gotten his battery charges dropped.

The news was made public Friday when prosecutors said they did not have enough evidence against Jones to convict him of assaulting a local teenager in Panama City last year.

According to wjhg.com, Jim Jones and his crew were in the Boardwalk Beach Resort parking lot during a Spring Break concert on March 12. Jones’s clique was caught on camera, roughing up Damion Johns, before Jones is shown breaking up the ruckus.

Initially, Panama City Police handled the reports then handed their info over to the State Attorneys Office.

In April, Jones pleaded not guilty to the charges and less than a year later, the rest of the world can believe him.
