Former Atlanta Mayor Andy Young has weighed in on the arrest of T.I., claiming the rapper may have been stopped for “DWB – Driving While Black.”

T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were arrested after they were stopped in the rapper’s Maybach on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, for allegedly making an illegal U-turn.

Police allegedly smelled the odor of marijuana, searched the vehicle and uncovered a small amount of ecstasy and what is reported to be meth-amphetamines.

Young questioned the police’s initial intent when they stopped the chart-topping rapper/actor, who recently starred in the #1 hit movie, Takers.

“There’s another culture in L.A. that I don’t understand,” Young told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Most people in Los Angeles would wonder why he was stopped. I don’t know why they should have been stopped … When a black man is stopped and not speeding … you call that driving while black.”

Young, who officiated T.I.’s wedding to Tiny in July, also counseled T.I. after the rapper pleaded guilty to federal drug charges.

T.I. immediately notified his probation officer of the arrest, as required by the terms of his probation.

At press time, T.I. is heading back to Atlanta. He will most likely have to appear in court where Judge Charles Pannell Jr. could revoke his probation and send the rapper to jail.

T.I. is going to be back on his way to Atlanta in the next 24 hours,” Don Samuel, one of T.I.’s lawyers, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “It’s almost certain he’ll end up appearing before the court here. But without knowing all the facts, it’s premature to speculate what the court is likely to do.”

According to the terms of T.I.’s probation, the rapper cannot possess or use any narcotic, or frequent any place drugs are sold, used or administered.

According to the lawsuit Spero identifies herself as a “51-year-old-white woman” who clashed with Combs after she revealed she needed hip surgery in 2008.

Spero, who was Vice President of Management and Publishing at Bad Boy Records, “suffered a relapse” into an addition to prescription medication and alcohol abuse.

Jin, the Chinese-American rapper, signed to Ruff Ryders in 2001, is back and his rhyming skills now incorporate Cantonese Chinese, one of the Chinese language’s most difficult dialects.

“You can listen to one of my songs, you can listen to one of their songs, as a Cantonese speaker, and right away you can tell the difference. It’s just the choice of words, of the way we structure our raps,” Jin told The New York Times.

The rapper, who was born in Miami and later moved to New York, eventually went on to win seven straight “Freestyle Friday” competitions on BET’s 106 & Park, making it to the hit TV show’s Hall of Fame.

“There will be clever intricacies here and there, but ultimately I can’t get too in depth, at least not as much as I can with my English lyrics because I control the English language better than I can the Cantonese,” Jin said.

Being the first Asian solo rapper to be signed to a major record label, Jin takes pride in his heritage.

“What is in my Cantonese vocabulary is just a lot of day to day, you know, a little bit of mottoes and sayings here and there, but ultimately, there’s a long way to go,” Jin mentioned.

Jin also took the time to talk about his religion and his newly developed feeling of responsibility to his faith.

“God is so dope and he’s done so many awesome things in my life,” he added. “I’m a workhorse now. What is driving me? This new found responsibility.”

In related new, Jin is developing his acting skills and will be featured in an upcoming film in November surrounding the early life of Bruce Lee.

Below is his most recent video remixing the Diddy and Dirty Money’s – Angels:

Nashville, Tennessee rapper Young Buck has released a statement regarding his tax battle with the IRS and reports of a planned $5 million dollar lawsuit against G-Unit leader 50 Cent.

Young Buck filed for Chapter 13, which allowed the rapper to keep all of his possessions, as he pays back an estimated $12,500 per month, over the next five years.

“I was forced to file bankruptcy, not because I am broke.” Young Buck said in a statement. “But because I have to get my finances back in order and deal with the contract situations I was in. Now I have a clean slate and full control over my own life and career.”

Representatives for Young Buck also confirmed his bankruptcy status has negated “any and all contractual obligations held by the filer, which in the case of Young Buck, includes his recording and publishing contracts with G-Unit Records, thus allowing him to shop for another deal.”

Young Buck also shot down reports that he would be filing a lawsuit against 50 Cent, G-Unit and former manager Sha Money XL.

“Where did that rumor come from?! I have not filed suit against anyone, although, maybe that’s not a bad idea,” Young Buck told AllHipHop.com in a statement.
