50 Cent Reveals NEW Album Title

The G-Unit head honcho recently revealed the name of his next LP. 50 Cent has finally given fans some more information about his frequently delayed fifth studio album. Fif revealed the album title in an interview with Hot 107.9 Philly. Apparently, the album will simply be entitled, Five (Murder by Numbers). Not long after 50 made the announcement, the radio station issued a tweet on the subject: “@50cent has a new album dropping July 3rd called Five (Murder by Numbers). Make sure you go and get that.”

Ice T Premieres ‘Art Of Rap’ Documentary In New York

Ice T premiered his anticipated documentary “Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap” at Lincoln Center, in New York City on Wednesday night, hosting guests like Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, DJ Khaled and MTV New correspondent, Sway Calloway. Ice introduced the film by giving some background on his vision, explaining the importance of the ‘craft’ of hip-hop and telling the crowd, “Sorry if I’m talking too much, this is like the most exciting night of my life.” Ice continued celebrating his directorial debut with an afterparty at Highline Ballroom, with performances from Rakim, Chuck D. As if she couldn’t be any more overexposed, pop diva Rihanna decided to let it all hang out and roamed the streets of New York City in some sort of a see-through, pink, lacy, strapless bra top thing on Monday afternoon. The 24-year-old “Birthday Cake” singer kept the wardrobe malfunction sexy lingerie as outerwear theme and even rocked what appears to be some sort of ruffled slip as a skirt.

D’Angelo Is Back

D’Angelo is back. The reclusive R&B singer made his first live U.S. appearance in 12 years at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival early Sunday morning, surprising a few thousand fans during Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson’s Superjam session.
“I’ve been waiting 12 years to say this – ladies and gentlemen, D’Angelo!,” Thompson said as the crowd roared. It was his first U.S. show since 2000 and a prelude to an appearance at July’s Essence Music Festival and a European tour with many of the same players who backed him Sunday morning. D’Angelo played live in Europe earlier this year.

There’s no way in hell Drake took the $30k missing Rolex in NYC … he claims his version came directly from Rolex, not some jeweler in midtown — this according to sources. Manhattan lawyer James McMillan filed a lawsuit in New York, says the NY Post, claiming his $30k Rose-Gold Rolex Presidential watch with a diamond bezel went missing from a midtown jeweler last year. McMillian claims the jeweler wouldn’t return the watch and eventually sold his Rolex to rapper Drake.
